This newly introduced model comes equipped with a sophisticated 4-cylinder, VARICOR diesel power plant. The optimized body weight helps the engine to deliver a mileage in the range of 15 to 16 Kmpl, which is impressive.

Power of Tata Movus

Ed's Take: The power ratings on the Movus are of 120bhp, a tuned down version of that on the Tata Safari Storme. It now has the same VariCOR engine from the Storme.

Both the CX and LX variants have been equipped with a 2.2-litre engine that is based on DOHC valve configuration. This 4-cylinder engine can churn out a peak power of 118.35bhp at 4000rpm while developing a commanding torque output of 250Nm at just 1500 to 3000rpm, which is ideal for city maneuvering.
